A big group and great accomplishments!
A total of 32 individuals went to the Leadership Training for Christ (LTC) convention in Kansas City this year. Our group earned 111 gold, 9 silver, and 4 bronze medals. When group events are counted as a single award, that still represents 67 gold, 8 silver, and 4 bronze medals. We are so proud of them, their accomplishments, and their eagerness to serve the Lord with their gifts! And many thanks to the mentors, parents, chaperones, and Stacy Kalisz for coordinating again this year!
We saw our young people participate in a wide variety of projects this year, including the following categories and projects:
Engagement & Leadership: Drama, Chorus, Puppets, Song Leading, Public Speaking, Teaching Challenge, Worship Leadership Challenge, Leadership Challenge, and Sign Language.
Bible & Communication: Bible Reading, Bible Reading Challenge, Bible Bowl, Christian Poetry, and Christian Podcast.
Creative & Visual Arts: Banner, Bulletin Board, Mixed Media, Digital Poster, Drawing, Photography, Sculpture, Scrapbook, and Children’s Book.
Media & Technology: Video Creations, and Web Design.
Spiritual Formation & Service: Prayer Journal, Prayer Journal Challenge, and Service Challenge.
